To spread its popularity, promote Mass Sports, activate mass spare cultural lives and to propagandize the public benefits of Sports Lottery, 06’ Sports Lottery Triathlon Contest will be specifically held in Beidaihe, Qinhuangdao.
　　I. Contest Time: 8:30am, Sep. 2nd, 2006, Saturday.
　　II. Contest Spots: Laohushi outdoor-bathing Place, Beidaihe district, and the roads in the district.
　　III. Host Parties: Hebei Triathlon Federation, Qinhuangdao Municipal Sports Bureau.
　　IV. Coordinator: Hebei Sports Lottery Management Centre
　　V. Undertaking Parties: Qinhuangdao Municipal Sports Bureau, Beidaihe District Government and Beidaihe Sports Bureau.
　　VI. Players: Welcome healthy individual interested in triathlon to attend the contest. When entry the contest, please provide the ID original and one copy. No numbers’ limitation. Once entry, no random substitution or changing contest teams. In case players injured can’t take part in the contest after entry, substitutions of its own community could be available by presenting the approvals prescribed by and above the county hospitals. Substitutions can’t be accessible 3 days before the contest. All the players attending the contest should cover the accidental benefits.
　　VII. Competition Distance and Contest Teams:
　　　1. Middle-and-long distance: 61km(Swimming: 1.5km,   Cycling: 49.5km, Racing: 10km).
　　　2. Welcome all the Sports Federations ( Triathlon Associations), Triathlon Clubs, Schools and other communities to organize in the Contest. Each Team with one manager as coach.
　　　3. Age period clarification:
　　　Middle-and-long distance:
　　　A: Men’s Group: Year under 19(contains 19); Year 20-29; Year 30-39; Year 40-49; 　　　　　Year 50-59; Year above 60.
　　　B: Women’s Group: Year under 19(contains 19); Year 20-29; Year 30-39; Year 40-49; Year above 50.
　　VIII. Places:
　　The first six of Men’s Group will be awarded, if less than 5 players, the first two will be awarded. The only 2 players will be awarded as the fourth and fifth places, but with their true places released to the public.
　　The first three of women’s Group will be awarded, if less than 3 players, the first will be awarded. The only 1 player will be awarded as the third place, but with her true place released to the public.
　　The first six of Teams will be awarded. Team Scoring Method: The total time added together of the first three players available in the contest, shorter the time, forwarder the place. If 2 teams with the same total time, judging by their third players scores, shorter the time, forwarder the place. If the team less than 3 players, no team score.
　　IX. Award:
　　Middle-and-long distance Team: Awarded Bonus, Medals( Chest Medal) and Certificates. Additionally awarded “Triathlon Spirit Award”, all the players in the contest will be awarded this kind of certificates and souvenirs.
　　X. Rules: In accordance with the Rules issued by General Administration of the People’s Republic of China, combining the specific situation in the contest to plan the Triathlon Rules.
　　XI. Referees: Chief Referees, Deputy Referees and Umpires will be selected by the Host Parties.
　　XII. Facilities: Sports suits and facilities will be assembled by the players’ communities. Every player in Cycling Game must wear safety helmet. The racers of the players under 23 must be Road Racers, the additional handlebars can’t be beyond the tip of the handlebars’ fronts. All the racers must be examined by the contest committee to confirm their safety standards.
　　XIII. Insurance: All the players should cover the accidental benefits, any accidents happen in the contest will be in charge of resolution by the players and their teams. When entry the contest, players will sign <The Pledge of Competition Responsibility> .
　　XIV. Entry: Entry Time: from the date of this Rule issued to Aug. 20th, 2006.

　　XIV. Registering: According to received competition notice, teams and individual should register at assigned spot and get competitors certificates 1 day before the contest. Those who haven`t received the competition notices should provide 2 pieces of 1-inch bareheaded full-faced photo. No substitution after the registering.
　　Teams should inform their return-time, train/coach number and tickets number to the Undertaking Party before Aug. 25th, once confirmed, no-change happens. Registering time is on Aug. 31st , 2006. Teams information about the arrival time, train/coach number should be available to the undertaking Party ahead of time for convenient pick-up (competitors registration on Aug.31st,  practice in the venue on Sep.1st, competition time on Sep.2nd , departure  time on Sep.3rd ).
　　XV. Expenses: All the costs of the teams and players will be responsible by themselves. Any accommodation and transportation requirements should be indicated while entry.Players from other cities share 100 yuan (RMB) allowance per person.
